International Conference: Historic maps and imagery for modern scientific applications

International scientists from several different disciplines met in November 2008 in Berne to discuss their research which is partly or even completely based on the analysis of historical data, i.e. imagery, maps or city models. The conference will be hosted at the University of Bern for the second time after 2008 in October 2009. At the last confernece approximately 100 participants registered and 25 presentations were given. Selected papers of last year’s conference will be published in June 2009 in the PFG journal (Photogrammetrie – Fernerkundung – Geoinformation).
